Original pitanje:
There’s some basketball shoes by basketballer L******* (non Muslim). The shoes’ design and patterns are inspired by his tattoos and his nickname ‘M***’ is printed onto the shoes. Are these permissible to buy or is this glorifying a non Muslim etc?

Original odgovor:
Buying such products indicates the level of a person’s Iman as such products are usually not bought except due to an inferiority complex people have where they want to show others that they are important or sophisticated!
It is not prohibited to buy useful stuff and products but one must reinvestigate his intention behind buying it to know whether it is genuine or only because it is the trend!
